ABVP Diplomate, 2005 Specialist Certification
Dr. Tony Lopez started Phillips Creek Veterinary Hospital. He has worked as a veterinarian in the DFW area for 26 years after graduating from Oklahoma State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1997.
Dr. Lopez was employed as an associate veterinarian in north Dallas for the past 11 years, practicing at Cornerstone Animal Clinic. During that time, the practice doubled in size. While Dr. Lopez did not want to leave many beloved clients, pets, and staff, he made the difficult decision to realize the dream of opening his own veterinary practice.
Dr. Lopez is a board-certified specialist in canine and feline practice. There are only a handful of these specialists in the DFW area and board certification represents an extra level of medical and surgical expertise in taking care of your dog or cat. More information about board-certified specialists can be found here at the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners web site. Dr. Lopez obtained his specialist status in 2005.
Dr. Lopez shares his home with many pets and enjoys the company of a very smart Border Collie named Wyatt, and two male orange tabbies — Gimly and Eli.
