Dr. Steven Hull, DVM
Veterinarian
Oklahoma State University, 1998, DVM
Dr. Steven Hull has been practicing in the DFW area since 1998. He is a certified cat-friendly veterinarian who attended undergraduate classes at Oklahoma State University for just 2 years before being accepted to OSU’s College of Veterinary Medicine at age 19. In the summer of 1996, Dr. Hull and Dr. Lopez met through mutual friends while both in Veterinary School at OSU. This nearly 25-year friendship is a large part of what brought Dr. Hull to Phillips Creek Veterinary Hospital after a 16-year tenure at Carrier Animal Hospital in Grand Prairie.
In his spare time during high school, he began showing cats in the Cat Fanciers’ Association. He exhibited several breeds of cats to National Wins, earning them wins among the top 15 cats in the country. One of these cats, a Russian Blue named Nick, was featured on ESPN in a special chronicling a show Steven attended in San Francisco in 1992. Later that same year, he began breeding and showing Oriental and Colorpoint Shorthairs and eventually produced a National Winner in both breeds. Another hobby of his is bowling, in both leagues and tournaments. The highlight of Steven’s bowling career was a perfect 300 game in October 2002.
Currently, Dr. Hull has two Miniature Australian Shepherds, Marlee and Maddie.
