Dr. Jennifer Houck, DVM

Dr. Jennifer Houck joined Phillips Creek full-time in 2020. She obtained her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Texas A&M University in 1989 after completing her Bachelor of Science at the University. She has practiced in the DFW area for most of her career. She enjoys her time with patients and being able to keep them happy and healthy; as well as assisting their guardians to give them the best lives possible. She enjoys all aspects of medicines, surgery and preventive care for cats and dogs.

Dr. Houck is an avid birdwatcher and bird photographer. Five years ago, she would have said “you are crazy!” if you suggested such a thing as birdwatching. She enjoys hiking and exploring the State Parks and refuges here in Texas. She also loves reading; her current genre addiction is Roman and Norse historical fiction. She is the happy guardian caretaker of 2 cats and 2 dogs (Bobby Boucher, Ozzy, Rizzo and Vincent). Ozzy is a recent adoption after a hard year that saw 3 of her pets pass over the Rainbow Bridge. He has sparked another candle of life in the household.
